Tuesday the 4th of July, Syrian-born designer Rami Al Ali embodies his love for refined couture and fabric in his Autumn/Winter 2023-2024 couture collection. The inspirational fashion master presented his collection at Haute Couture Week at the beacon of modern and contemporary art in Paris, Palais de Tokyo.

We did not expect less than an astounding epitome of fresh and unique takes on couture and ever-dreamy elegant gowns and the designer sure did not disappoint. Al Ali has deep passion for Visual Art and studied the field at the college of Fine Arts in Damascus, Syria, which brought upon his inspiration for this collection. French visual artist, Henri Matisse, is known for his fluid use of color and organic shapes, which is beautifully incorporated in this collection’s gowns.

We saw an impeccable use of refreshing vibrant colors, contrasting fabric and hues, complimenting constructions, and royal silhouettes. Pastel colors seemed to dominate this collection in sequined, satin, plumaged, and mesh dresses.

Ending the show was an otherworldly bridal dress and veil look.
