Louis Vuitton Mascots Take Over Atlantis The Royal

Celebrating one year at one of the most luxurious resorts in the world can be quite an event. Add a Louis Vuitton collaboration to that, and you have probably one of the most exciting anniversaries ever. To celebrate its first anniversary, Atlantis The Royal teamed up with Louis Vuitton, inviting the brand’s ultra-cool and uber-chic mascot, Vivienne, for a stay at the resort.
Vivienne was born in 2017, originally as a collectible figure, who lives a jet-set lifestyle. Vivienne frequently flies across the world, attending Louis Vuitton parties and launches. When she isn’t flying across the world, Vivienne spends her time riding waves, and most recently, attended Atlantis The Royal’s first anniversary. Six 3-meter-tall statues are placed around the resort, while two inflatable Vivienne’s, towering at ten meters tall, welcome guests at the resort’s entrance.
Each of the six Vivienne’s has unique personalities, with nicknames and designs that represent their personality. Found lounging around Atlantis The Royal is the chic Jetsetter Vivienne, always donning her Pharrell Williams X Louis Vuitton sunglasses, the curious Roller Vivienne never without her camera at hand, and Sailor Vivienne, who prefers to soak up the resort by floating through the resort’s fire and water fountain Skyblaze. Each of these Vivienne’s was designed and constructed in Dubai using both modern and traditional design elements, bringing their own unique surprise to guests at the resort.

“The whole idea started with Vivienne, who is essentially an iconic and emblematic mascot for Louis Vuitton. Vivienne embodies liveliness, fun, and all the craftsmanship of the Maison,” said Hanan Eissa, Vice President, Marketing & Public Relations at Atlantis Dubai. “While Vivienne’s adventures have taken her surfing, flying in a Monogram balloon, and into the world of jewelry, Louis Vuitton never really played with Vivienne on a large scale before, so this is where we started.”
Extending their collaboration in a city that promotes technological innovation, Louis Vuitton and Atlantis The Royal have also included an immersive AR experience, where guests at the resort can delve into the world of Vivienne through a digital map that reveals the locations of Vivienne sculptures across the resort. When guests locate each of the Vivienne’s, the location on the map will feature an animated marker.
