The festival will collaborate with NAS-helmed entertainment company, Mass Appeal, to become the official partner for Hop Hop 50 in the Arab world. The global audience can witness a dedicated intensive Hip Hop period, celebrating the genre through film, fashion, activations, music, and more.
The 2023 Sole DXB edition boasts a diverse and exciting schedule, encompassing live performances, DJ sets, sports tournaments, talks, and workshops.
The lineup of rap artists is nothing short of spectacular, including performances by Busta Rhymes, Joey Bada$$, Odumodublvck, Maxi Zee, The Recipe, Jadakiss, Tobe Nwigne, Big Daddy Kane, Soulja, and the unique Sudanese-American ODDISEE bringing his signature jazz vibes. DJ Shadow, an instrumental hip hop specialist, will also grace the stage alongside Lil Zey, the first female Turkish trap rapper, adding a dynamic touch of funk and go-go tracks.
Notable Sudanese talent continues to shine with Nadine El Roubi’s captivating presence, while Sampa the Great from Syria, poet Omar Offendum, and the Palestinian-Egyptian Ma-Ben contribute to the festival’s rich and diverse lineup.
