SODIC Sets the Stage for Nobu’s Egypt Debut with Exclusive Ibiza Retreat

If you can’t wait for Nobu’s official debut in Egypt, you’re not alone. To set the tone for what’s to come, SODIC invited a select group of regional talent to experience the globally renowned Nobu experience at the charming Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay. The exclusive three-day retreat offered an unforgettable taste of Nobu’s elevated hospitality—just ahead of its highly anticipated arrival in Egypt.

The journey begins with Ogami, SODIC’s flagship destination in Ras El Hekma, where Nobu Hotel, Residences, and Restaurant North Coast Egypt will debut—starting with the opening of the restaurant this summer. This marks the first step in Nobu’s official entry into the country.

The retreat followed the success of last year’s Marbella experience, immersing guests in the essence of Nobu living—from a signature sunset dinner and a private boat trip to Formentera to soul-soothing spa rituals. Each detail reflected Nobu’s minimal design, wellness-led experiences, and world-class Japanese-Peruvian cuisine.

Set in Egypt’s North Coast, Ogami spans 440 acres. It is inspired by the serene balance of Japanese minimalism and the warmth of the Mediterranean. Designed by DLR Group, Ogami offers seven distinct districts, a beach club, a clubhouse, a sports and wellness center, and a curated collection of dining and retail experiences—anchored by the Nobu Hotel and Residences.

This retreat also marked a key milestone in SODIC’s ongoing partnership with Nobu Hospitality. With Ogami as the first chapter, the collaboration is set to extend to additional flagship destinations—namely The Estates Residences in West Cairo and Eastown District New Cairo (EDNC) in East Cairo.
