The Swiss luxury house unveiled its latest exhibition ‘The House of Gold’ at the 17th edition of Art Dubai 2024, shining light on gold as the epitome of luxury. As part of its exhibition, the luxury brand revealed two collaborative Limelight Gala timepieces at the fair, with the spotlight on the reissued Piaget Polo 79—a renowned bracelet watch crafted from the most exquisite metals. The legendary timepieces debuting at Art Dubai echo the brand’s ethos as a house of luxury —setting the stage for its upcoming 150th-anniversary celebrations and the highly anticipated ‘Watches and Wonders’ event.

Piaget collaborated with Art Dubai as an exclusive high jewelry and watches partner — partnering with Emirati jewelry designer Shamsa Alabbar and Saudi fashion designer Razan Alazzouni for a dazzling exhibition called House of Gold.

The presentation showcased the launch of a limited edition of Piaget’s timeless Limelight Gala watch, reimagined by Emirati designer Shams Alabbar. The redesigned timepiece presented a captivating fusion of typography and Arabic graphic design through sweeping curves of the iconic brand.

The exhibition also featured a central textile embroidered installation by Saudi Arabian fashion designer and artist Razan Alazzouni who drew inspiration from another version of the Limelight Gala crafted from gold and decorative gemstones. Alazzouni previously created two embroidered artworks that showcased Piagert’s signature gold crafting technique for the Piaget Possession Palace collection.

“Taking part in the 17th edition of Art Dubai in 2024, during Piaget’s grand celebration of its 150th anniversary, was an undeniable and natural choice for us,” expressed CEO of Piaget, Benjamin Comar.
