Hermès presented its Men’s show in Paris yesterday during Paris Fashion Week Men’s, and it was a big moment in luxury fashion this season. Held at the Palais Brongniart, the former Paris Stock Exchange, you could say the show felt like a beautiful farewell, as it marked Véronique Nichanian’s final menswear collection for Hermès. Nichanian has led Hermès menswear for an impressive 37 years, shaping many of the house’s most iconic and enduring looks.

The collection featured key pieces such as silk turtlenecks, tailored leather trousers, and leather-trimmed, shearling-lined overcoats. One look that truly stole the spotlight was a shiny khaki crocodile-skin suit, standing out amid the brand’s typically muted palette. Speaking of color, the collection included refined hues of navy, taupe, black, with touches of orange and yellow.

Guests spotted front row included Usher, Travis Scott, James McAvoy, Chace Crawford, and Paul Smith, seated alongside Hermès executives. The show ended on an emotional note, with Nichanian taking a runway walk to a standing ovation that felt like a tribute from the fashion community.

So, what’s next? Hermès announced that London-based designer Grace Wales Bonner will take over menswear creative direction. She is expected to debut her first collection for the house in January 2027, making history as the first Black woman to lead design at a major luxury fashion house.
