Hermès Beauty Combines Playfulness and Functionality in New Trait d’Hermès Collection

Hermès has unveiled its latest makeup collection, Trait d’Hermès, featuring eye pencils, lip pencils, eyeliner, and accessories. This captivating collection merges functionality with playfulness, drawing inspiration from childhood memories. Each item is designed to evoke the charm of a child’s pencil case or back-to-school essentials.
Trait d’Hermès embodies technical excellence and creative innovation, offering high-precision tools that celebrate self-expression. The face becomes a canvas to reinvent daily, encouraging everyone to explore their personal story through color and design.
Created by Pierre Hardy, the designer behind Hermès Beauty objects, the collection showcases sustainably crafted wooden pencils in 40 shades for eyes and lips. The 24 creamy, water-resistant eye pencils feature rich textures and shades like Noir Fusain, Brun Bistre, Bleu Nuit, Vert Malachite, Bleuet, and Violet Indigo, alongside signature colors such as Orange Boîte, Raisin, and Or Premabrass. These pencils come in matte or iridescent finishes. The 16 lip pencils, available in hues like Rouge Érable and Beige Thé, covering hues of reds, pinks, oranges, and beiges and mirror the Rouge Hermès lipsticks.
The eyeliner is a standout with its soft-bristled tip, designed to stay fresh over time. It offers exceptional precision, drawing sharp, buildable lines. Its water-resistant, quick-drying, long-lasting formula is available in Encre Noire, a deeply pigmented black.
The collection also includes chic accessories like a pencil sharpener adorned with the signature ex-libris engraving on a golden disc, blending fun and functionality. Available in three two-tone versions—Noir Fusain, Rouge H, and Vert Vérone—it’s a playful, thoughtful gift for yourself or a loved one. Additionally, the rounded, compact brush, crafted with a lacquered wooden handle and soft natural and synthetic bristles, ensures intuitive, controlled application. Each brush is hand-assembled by a French heritage company with over two centuries of expertise.
