This volume features the works of 40 young artists in dialogue with the art and legacy of their muses, creating a sophisticated exchange that celebrates the role of women in Italian art and culture. Eva Fabbris, Director of the Madre Museum in Naples and co-curator of the book, explains that the project delves into the relationships between a significant group of contemporary artists and the Italian female cultural figures who have influenced their practices and perspectives on art. This exploration is unveiled through portraits, texts, and images, offering insight into the creative journeys and artistic influences of these individuals.

Gucci Prospettive 3: Italiane Ancora beautifully highlights the historical contributions of women to Italian art, particularly through practices that resonate with the inspiration behind Gucci’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection. This includes the surfaces of Dadamaino, the color repetitions of Carla Accardi, and the two-dimensional interventions of Matilde Cassani.

The book was showcased at the historic Milanese institution, Hoopla Bookshop, from September 19 to 21. This presentation was accompanied by a curated selection of works by female authors and art critics, chosen by Gucci.
