The fashion fund, Fashion Trust Arabia, dedicated to fostering and highlighting Middle Eastern talent, has finally announced the seven winners of its prize yesterday. 

The panel included founders Sheikha Al-Mayassa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani and fashion writer Tania Fares, who made the collaborative the decision to award womenswear designer Amir Al Kaum and Renaiannce Renaissance founder Cynthia Merhej winners of the evening wear category. 

Lebanon-based designer Ahmed Amer won the ready-to-wear category, British-Lebanese jewelry designer Katarina Tarazi won the jewellery category, and co-designers of eyewear brand A Better Feeling, Omar Taha, and Lily Max won accessories. Designer Adam Elyasse took home the Franca Sozzani Debut Talent award and Nigerian designer Adeju Thompson, founder of Lagos Space Program, was awarded the Guest Country Award.
