Dubai Fashion Week has come to an end today after dazzling many with its awe-inspiring lineup of designers and creations. Founded by Dubai Design District, the event is the industry’s exclusive official platform that holds its place on the international calendar alongside New York, London, Milan, and Paris fashion weeks.

Designers have come to showcase their Autumn/Winter 24/25 collections, from Malaysia’s leading fashion brand Rizman Ruzaini and Mrs. Keepa to ANAYA, Humariff, Maison Sara Chraibi, Choice, Riva, Selfmade, Michael Cinco, Dima Ayad, Zeena Zaki x Tryano, Reborn, Zey-ye, American Rag Cie x FAD Dubai, Emergency Room x Nothing, and ending with the showcasing of BLSSD, Adolfo Dominguez, and Designers & Us collections.

Dubai-based Lebanese designer, Dima Ayad, presented her collection, paying homage to the iconic era of the late 90s. The runway was adorned with an exquisite array of elements, including whimsical bubbles, glossy browns and whites, dynamic volumes, sequins, and dramatic silhouettes. ANAYA by Chathuri featured sensually crafted cut-out dresses, 3D embroidery, dramatic shoulders, and an overall aura of timeless elegance.

We can’t mention elegance without a shoutout to the distinguished Moroccan designer, Sara Chraibi, who is also a member of Paris Haute Couture Week. Her collection emphasized Dubai’s clients’ allure and style with lavish gold and bronze-toned gowns, perfectly structured kaftans, and oversized coats that were all designed through a Moroccan lens.

On the street-style end, Selfmade, by Serbian designer Emina Skrijlej Sabutay, presented a bold and edgy interpretation of fashion. The color palette, featuring shades of blue, grey, and black, infused denim, leather, and other fabrics, exuding baggy chic, daring everyday wear, and visibility and expression.

The designs presented are eccentric, inspired, laden with meaning, and just downright breathtaking. The event promotes Dubai on a global level with an emphasis on its excellent efforts in creativity and the fashion business, marking this as an enthralling new chapter in Dubai Fashion Week’s vision and journey. Stay tuned for the showcasing of designers’ Spring/Summer 2025 collections from 10-15 October.
