With the Spring/Summer 2026 collection, FENDI introduces the Lui Duffle, a travel bag designed to move easily between runway and everyday use. Rather than treating luggage as a purely functional object, the House approaches the duffle as part of the wardrobe itself, combining practicality with the material precision that defines FENDI accessories.

First seen on the Spring/Summer 2026 catwalk, the Lui Duffle is built on the familiar structure of a soft travel bag, refined through proportion, finish, and detail. Its silhouette remains clean and slightly elongated, giving the bag presence without making it feel oversized, while the soft construction allows it to move naturally with the body.

Crafted from granulated leather, the surface emphasizes durability while maintaining the softness expected from a luxury travel piece. Signature FF metal corners and visible Sellieria stitching define the form, highlighting the House’s leatherworking tradition. Inspired by Roman master saddlers, the hand-sewn detailing reinforces the sense of craftsmanship, with each bag completed by a single artisan.

Function remains central to the design. The Lui Duffle is offered in two sizes, 45 medium and 55 large, allowing it to adapt to different types of travel. A long zip with double sliders allows easy access, while snap buttons at the sides adjust the shape and capacity. The interior, lined in water-resistant technical fabric, includes a flat zip pocket, a nylon dustbag, and a leather strap designed for trolley attachment. Padded handles and a removable shoulder strap add comfort, keeping the bag practical without compromising its finish.

On the runway, the bag appeared alongside relaxed tailoring and lightweight outerwear, reinforcing the idea of clothing made for movement. In this context, the Lui Duffle reads less like luggage and more like a natural extension of the look, something meant to travel with the wearer rather than sit apart from it.

With the Lui Duffle, FENDI refines a familiar object instead of reinventing it, focusing on material, construction, and proportion. The result is a travel bag that feels both functional and considered, reflecting a moment where luxury is defined as much by usability as by design.
