Wago App Soft Launches at Almaza Bay with Egypt’s First All-in-One Pet Care Platform

Wago App is officially making its debut at Almaza Bay this summer with a soft launch running from August 15 to 31. Designed for pets and their families, the activation will bring on-ground vet and pet care for emergencies, easy access to products and pharmacy essentials, along with community experiences, contests, and giveaways. While the fully serviced Wago App Van will not be physically present at Almaza, its promise of mobility and flexibility remains at the heart of the brand.

So what exactly is Wago App? It is Egypt’s first all-in-one pet care platform, created to make every step of pet ownership simpler, easier, and more joyful. From grooming, vet bookings, and pharmacy needs to emergencies, boarding, pet photography, rescue, casting, and lost pet support, Wago App gathers every service a pet parent could need into one trusted platform. Its online store and pharmacy make essentials easily accessible, while pet profiles and digital health histories act like passports, ensuring that nothing important is ever lost.

The idea was born out of personal experience. During COVID, when her dogs became sick, Wago App’s founder and CEO Farida Tabikha had to handle their care herself with an online vet. Living with nine pets, she saw how challenging it was to find reliable support, and that experience sparked the vision for a platform that makes pet care accessible for everyone. As she puts it, Wago App was created for all animals, not just those with homes. Supporting strays is a big part of its mission, with a focus on care, education, and community awareness.
