Marni Spring/Summer 2025 VOL.2: A Journey Beyond Fashion
- Nada Armanious
Marni presented VOL.2 of its Spring/Summer 2025 collection at its showroom, telling a unique narrative through every detail. Inspired by the notion that beauty is not a destination, but a velocity, the Italian luxury fashion house offered a fashion show as an ode to this concept.

Further advancing Francesco Risso’s oeuvre, VOL.2 embraces a quieter, yet deeply profound allure. Emphasizing the art of design, the collection serves as a medium that transports guests on a fantastical journey. Surrounded by a scenery of roses, rhinestones, fabric scraps, and pages of literature hand-pasted onto jerseys, the audience was taken to a realm beyond mere fashion.
Risso designed the collection to evoke beauty through a series of symbols and gestures. Using cotton, leather, and suede as canvases, the pieces were styled by Carlos Nazario, becoming an organic extension of the self.

The fashion show reflected the sophisticated essence of the collection, with only three pianos—played by Hynes, Sharleen Chidiac, and Adam Tendler—providing the soundtrack. Models moved freely without a defined runway, mirroring the organic and adventurous inspirations behind this creation.
